How to bring good habits back to life

So after many failed attempts to manage her time better I found HABYTS ……OMG this little gem of a piece of software, I swear, may have saved me from insanity.”
– Lisa, mother of a 9-year-old girl

This kind of feedback inspires us every day at Habyts.

As a husband and wife team, we started Habyts in 2014 because of our own screen time battles with our boys. We were tired of the nagging, frustration and fights and felt that there should be a positive way to teach our children how to manage screen time.

Having worked with global ADHD and parenting experts (including organising ADHD workshops for parents and educators), we felt we could bring a fresh perspective based on expert insight and experience.

So, we built Habyts.

Our app manages screen time, provides parental controls and minimises study time distractions – while motivating kids to finish chores and homework. Through our uniquely automated ‘points and privileges’ system, Habyts lets kids complete tasks in order to earn screen time privileges or other pre-agreed rewards.

In summary, Habyts integrates technology into daily life by allowing rewards to be both on and offline, helping the next generation become healthy and thoughtful users of whatever tech comes next.

“If screen time is a struggle for your family, I suggest you give Habyts a try. There is so much to gain.”

Dr Edward (Ned) Hallowell, M.D., Ed.D.
Globally-renowned Child and Adult Psychiatrist, Author and Expert in Cognitive Behavior
